What sets Shred Defense™ apart from other shredding companies?

Pulverization! (not strip shredding or cross cut)

Our output product is approximately 1/8” to 5/8” random pulverized pieces. Other companies produce a 5/8” width but the length can be as long as your document. Pulverization leaves no sensitive information: like social security numbers. We offer a government specified approved shred output, which has allowed us to do work for Federal Agencies.

Environmentally Sustainable Shredding
Employee Clearance
Drug screening, employment history, and criminal background checks (by a third party) enable us to exclude high risk individuals from our employment. This prevents our sensitive documents from falling into unsecure hands.

Access Control

Secure removal of pulverized documents, security of facilities, monitoring of alarms, and video monitoring and recording are of utmost importance at Shred Defense™ Our in-house shredder is fenced in from floor to razor wire at the ceiling. Only cleared personnel can enter this area.

The Destruction Process

a. We pride ourselves on the small particle pulverization size, document destruction timeframe, and disposal of destroyed materials. Shred Defense™ offers the most superior shred type, pulverization. We normally process all paper before closing time.

b. We bale our paper into over 3/4 ton bricks of paper in our facility (no subcontracting).

c. The bales then travel by rail car to Georgia Pacific to be recycled into household products. We never recycle our paper outside of the U.S.A.
